Pastor Israel Pochtar is the founder and leader of Voice of Judah Israel, an Israeli Messianic ministry based in Ashdod. With a heart to see the people of Israel encounter Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah , he has dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, planting congregations, and demonstrating the love of God through compassionate service.
In 2005, Pastor Israel founded Beit Hallel Congregation in Ashdod. What began as a step of faith has grown into a thriving Hebrew-speaking Messianic community and a training ground for leaders who are carrying the Gospel into communities throughout Israel.
His ministry focuses on:
Proclaiming the Gospel of Yeshua and making disciples
Planting and strengthening Messianic congregations throughout Israel
Providing food, clothing, household necessities, and humanitarian assistance to those in need
Helping new immigrants, known as Olim, adjust to life in Israel
Conducting youth camps, community outreach, leadership training, and evangelistic events
Through Voice of Judah Israel, Pastor Israel and his team serve new immigrants, refugees, Holocaust survivors, veterans, widows, orphans, single mothers, children, and families facing hardship. Their mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting practical needs while sharing the hope and transforming love of the Messiah.
Pastor Israel remains committed to seeing spiritual awakening throughout Israel one person, one family, and one community at a time. Through prayer and faithful partnership, supporters can help strengthen this work, provide assistance to vulnerable families, raise up leaders, and advance the Gospel in the land of Israel.
“And so all Israel will be saved.”
